PM FME Scheme envisages engaging Resources Persons (RPs) at the district/ regional level for providing hand-holding support to the micro food processing enterprises. These RPs would carry out the following functions:

  1. Handholding micro enterprises in
    1. Preparation of DPRs
    2. Facilitating bank loans
    3. Upgradation of the unit
    4. Getting necessary regulatory approvals like FSSAI, Udyami, GST etc.
    5. Supporting in product testing
